Staff Accountant

Our fast paced and growing Central Ohio firm is looking for full time staff accountants to join our team at either our Bellefontaine Location or Marysville Location.

This job will be a Staff Accountant Position working with Senior Staff and Partners in the following areas:

– Tax (Personal and Business)


– Accounting / Bookkeeping

– Outsource CFO Services

– Financial Consulting and Analysis

Experience and Qualifications

– 0-4 years of experience. New graduates are welcome to apply

– 4 year undergraduate degree required in Accounting or Finance

–  CPA or EA credentials prefered, or qualified to sit and obtain(education assistance available to obtain). Must be able to obtain within the first 5 years of employment.

– strong Microsoft Office skills

– QuickBooks and Accounting software knowledge is a welcome plus

Accounting Intern

Accounting Intern Responsibilities:

  • Shadowing members of the Tax and Small Business team as they perform their duties.
  • Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Preparing tax returns, financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
  • Working with bookkeeping software and tax software. 
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  • Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Accounting Intern Requirements:

  • Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Must be at minimum a Junior standing, having completed Intermediate Accounting (or similar) and some Tax courses 
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.

Administrative Assistant | Marysville Office

Job Description:
We are looking for an individual to help with the day to day tasks and assist with the running of our Marysville office.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $12-$15 Per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits: Vacation Time, Simple IRA, Health Insurance including dental and vision.
Schedule: 8AM to 4:30PM Mon-Thurs, 8AM to 12PM Friday. Overtime and some Saturday shifts will be necessary during tax season, January through April.

Applicants must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel preferred. 3 years Customer Service Experience Preferred.
